Comparison of cutting parameters between U-drill and ordinary drill bits
U-drill, also known as fast drill, is an internally cooled drill bit with good cutting arrangement and high efficiency, allowing for continuous drilling. The front end of the blade body is equipped with replaceable blades, reducing the cost of use. The difference between a U-drill and an ordinary drill is that the U-drill uses blades - the peripheral blades and the central blades. After tool wear, the blades can be replaced without regrinding. The use of indexable blades saves materials compared with the overall hard drill, and the consistency of the blades makes it easier to control the size of parts. The rigidity of the U-drill is good, and it can use a high feed rate. Moreover, the processing diameter of the U-drill is much larger than that of a regular drill, with a maximum capacity of D50~60mm.
